Harold Raymond Hunt, 94, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, May 29, 2004. A graveside service will be 2 pm Wednesday, June 2nd at Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. Harold was born July 19, 1909 in Boulder, CA to C.L. and Martha Hunt. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Company D, 110th Engineers and Company D infantry from 1928 to 1930. Harold served in the 66th Artillery Division during WW II. He served as Manager and Coach for Raytown YMCA Hot Stone Baseball League for 12 seasons. He was an Airframe and Engine Mechanic for TWA in Kansas City for 17 years. Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jane Hunt, and is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Leah Hunt; son, George Ferrel Hunt of Independence, MO; daughter, Mary F. Panuco of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Lindy Wheeler and husband Keith, and Jason Panuco; great grandchildren, Coty, Keara, and Kale Wheeler.
