Independence

Hunter Andrew Fisher, born on November 7, 2000, in Sedalia, Missouri, departed this world far too soon on December 12, 2024, in Independence, Missouri. His journey through life was brimming with a vibrancy that left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. Hunter was a gentle giant, a soul whose immense heart was overshadowed only by the warmth of his spirit. With an unmistakable spark in his eyes and a demeanor that radiated joy, he was known for his ability to light up any room he entered. Outspoken and confident, Hunter wore his individuality like a badge, always marching to the beat of his own drum. His personality was vibrant; he possessed a rare gift for retaining knowledge that sat atop a mountain of curiosity about the world around him. His education reflected his passions. Hunter attended La Monte High School and later embraced the opportunity to attend Job Corp, where he dedicated himself to mastering the art of welding. He found joy in life's simple pleasures—gathering around a crackling campfire, basking in laughter and fun times with friends, or getting lost in the immersive worlds of anime and gaming. His camaraderie was a tapestry of shared experiences filled with laughter, fun, and an unwavering love for his family. Among his younger relatives, he had a special knack for forging connections that transcended age, engaging them with a sense of wonder and joy only he could inspire.

Hunter's passing was preceded by his uncle, Jason Seaton, and his grandfather, Kenneth Lee Bender. His vibrant legacy lives on through his parents, Judy Bender and Andrew Fisher; his aunts, Cindy Seaton and Amy Barber; his grandparents, LaVera Bender, Goldia Fisher, and Delmar Fisher; and his cousins, Adam Pepo,Justin Bender, Sean Wolfe, and Emily Seaton. A visitation to honor his memory will take place on December 17, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel, located at 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055.
