Carl Huntsucker, 95 of Independence, MO passed away Fri. Aug 6, 2004 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Tue. Aug 10, 2004 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Six Mile Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Monday at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Six Mile Cemetery Association. Mr. Huntsucker was born on Sep 25, 1908 to Lewis and Minnie Huntsucker in Sibley, MO and was a life long area resident. He had previously worked at the Chevrolet Plant in Kansas City until 1946 when he and his brother-in-law John Thompson began Huntsucker Auto Parts. Carl was a Deacon and member of Six Mile Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, David, Elwood and Edwin. Also by a son and daughter in law, Ed and Sondra Huntsucker as a result of the Hyatt collapse in 1981. Mr. Huntsucker is survived by his wife of 74 years, Helen Huntsucker of Independence. A son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Cathy Huntsucker of Kansas City. Two daughters, Doris Kuchnsky of Scottsdale, AZ and Louise O�Dell of Independence. Three brothers, Tom Huntsucker of Buckner, MO, Lewis Huntsucker of Independence, MO and Harvey Huntsucker of Sibley, MO. Three sisters, Betty Robertson, Inez Simpson and Minnie Lee Firkins, all of Independence. Nine grandchildren and twelve grandchildren.
