Christine A. Hurt

Christine A. Hurt, 95, of Independence, MO passed away May 18, 2005 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Graveside Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, May 24 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Monday, May 23rd at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington. Christine was born February 7, 1910 in Clinton, MO to Charles and Cora (Keck) Tally. Mrs. Hurt enjoyed fishing and bowling in her spare time as well as crocheting afghans and quilting. She retired in Texas with her husband and they loved to travel the country together. Mrs. Hurt is survived by her daughter Betty and husband Robert Horne of Independence, MO; daughter�in-law Liz Hurt of Blue Springs, MO; 6 grandchildren, 18, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, and sons Robert and Donald.
