Nellie Marie Hutchins

Nellie Marie Hutchins, 90, of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2005 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2005 at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Nellie was born May 11, 1915 in Braymer, MO to Robert and Clara (Lewis) Roberts. She had worked at the Ward Paper Box Company for over 40 years retiring in 1977. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and, most importantly, being with her family. She was married to Robert L. Hutchins, he passed away in 1991. Survivors include; 2 sons, William Robert Payne of Marshall, MO and Ronald D. Payne of Independence, MO; a grandson, Michael William Payne of Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Stanley Roberts, Clayton Roberts, Everett Roberts; a sister, Chloe McElwee and a grandchild David Stanley Payne in 1998.
