Thuc Tu Huynh

Thuc Tu Huynh, 73 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Research Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with cremation to follow and inurnment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. Thuc was born May 7, 1943 in Vinh Long, Vietnam and relocated to the USA in 1975. He had worked as an electrical technician for Wilcox Electric and later for Progress Instruments both in Kansas City. He enjoyed fishing, fixing things, building model cars and traveling. He is survived by; his wife, Oanh Huynh of the home; a son, Anthony Huynh and wife Elizabeth Chan of California; a daughter, Amy Sanchez of Lee’s Summit, MO; 3 brothers, Hue Huynh, Thuong Huynh and Thuan Huynh; 2 sisters, Tuyet Huynh and Thuy Huynh and 2 grandchildren, Madalynne Sanchez and Khai Sanchez.
