Carmella Kathleen "Digiacomo" Impellizzeri

Carmella Kathleen (DiGiacomo) Impellizzeri, 91 of Independence, MO formerly of Smithtown, NY passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Cremation is planned with inurnment in New York at a later date. Carmella was born July 25, 1926 in Huntington Station, NY to Francesco (Frank) and Maria Francesca (Frances) (Petrone) DiGiacomo and was a longtime New York Resident. She had worked at the Bank of Smithtown, NY for 35 years until she retired as branch manager in 1996. She enjoyed reading, gardening and shopping. She was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Commack, NY. She is survived by; 2 sons, Mark Troy and wife Nansi of Independence, MO and Steven Impellizzeri of Dallas, PA; 1 daughter, Laura Washington and husband Kenneth of Smithtown, NY; 2 sisters, Marie Kelskey and Rita Comeau; 2 brothers, Alfred DiGiacomo and Frank DiGiacomo; and 5 grandchildren, Holly Kiss-Impellizzeri, Ian Washington, Tyler Washington, Alex Troy and Renan Troy.
