Betty Card Ingram, 87, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO with a Rebekah service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Betty was born January 10, 1925 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Victor and Geneva (Brown) Boynton. She retired from Milmack Floor Covering as a bookkeeper. Betty was a member of the Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church, the Sloan Rebekah Lodge #482 IOOF and was past president of the Rebekah Assembly of Missouri. She attended clown school and enjoyed entertaining people of all ages with other local women.
Survivors include her grandsons, Dodd Vanek and wife Susan Comeau, Jason Campbell and wife Kiersten; granddaughter, Jessica Campbell; great grandchildren, Ryan Michelle, Jordan Renee, Dakota Joel, Joshua Raymond, Dylan Lee, Faith Michelle, Destiny Rae; great great grandchildren, Gillian Rayn, Braeleigh Jordan, and Dominik Christopher; son in law, Walter R. Campbell; brothers John Boynton and wife Beverly, and Thomas Boynton and wife Joyce; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry R. Card in 1985; and her second husband, John W. Ingram; daughter, Bettierae Campbell and brothers, Victor and Eugene Boynton.
