Gary Wayne Ingram, 46 of Independence, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Celebration services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene. Private burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Gary was born May 10, 1966 in Independence, MO to James K. and Annabelle (Kidd) Ingram. Gary has been a lifelong area resident of Independence and attended William Chrisman High School. He had worked as an auto body painter and mechanic until he was paralyzed from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in 2003. Gary loved working on cars, playing his drums, writing poems, and spending time with friends and family. He was always care free and had such an amazing, happy spirit. He especially enjoyed playing and wrestling around with his nieces and nephews. He was a member of Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by; his mother, Annabelle Ingram of Independence, MO; a sister, Anna Marie Eager of Buckner, MO; brothers, James K. Ingram II, Robert E. Ingram and John Mark Ingram all of Independence, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James K. Ingram I in 1994.
