Nofrio S. "Pepsi� Internicola, 78, Independence, MO., died Sept. 11, 2004 at Rosewood Care Center. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The Rosary will be said at 6:30 pm, Tuesday before visitation at the funeral home. Services will be 11 am, Thursday, Sept. 16 at Nicholas Bush Funeral Home, Rome, NY. Interment will be Thursday at Crown Hill Memorial Park, New Hartford, NY. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer�s Assoc. Pepsi was born March 31, 1926 in Frankfort, NY. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II, a member of the American Legion, member of the Moose Lodge of Rome, NY, and a member of the Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. He was a welder at Allis-Chalmers retiring in 1986. Pepsi was one of the Kansas City Royals biggest fans and was a season ticket holder since 1972. Several articles over the years recognized him as "the Royals #1 Fan.� He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly J. Internicola on July 24, 2004. He is survived by daughter Lisa Breshears and husband Roger, Blue Springs, MO; daughter Clarice Klepadlo and husband Bill; daughter Julie Internicola; daughter Regina Internicola and husband Charles Parry, all of Rome, NY; several step-children; grandchildren Megan & Amy Breshears; Christopher & Michael Klepadlo; Tristan Cooper; Bridget Harrington; great-granddaughter, Maci Harrington; and special sister-in-law Lucille Internicola.
