Sharon Irwin

Sharon Irwin, 69, of Independence, MO passed away March 17, 2016. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the chapel. Burial will take place in Mound Grove Cemetery. Sharon was born on April 4, 1946 in Lamar, MO to Virgil and Naomi (Ashburn) Rogers. She married the love of her life on August 9, 1972. Sharon enjoyed country music and dancing, which is how she met her husband, Roger. She was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and attending the children’s sporting events. While at home she loved to watch her soap operas, and Royal’s Baseball. Survivors include: husband Roger Irwin, daughters Regina Rogers, Sharon Turner, Jana Swanson, Dwana Orell, and Robin Hart; son Micah Irwin; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
