Ronald Ray Isham, 59, of Independence, MO, passed away, Saturday, August 20, 2005 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Ronald was born December 10, 1945 in Tahlequah, OK to Henry and Lula (Sixkiller) Isham. Ron had worked as a truck driver for CKC and PIE before becoming and owner/operator of R & B Transportation. Ron was known helping people in need and for his Native American heritage of which he was a member of the Cherokee Tribe. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Lodge. He is survived by his wife Nona Gail Isham of the home; a son, Robert Alen Isham and his wife Kathy of Greenwood, MO; a daughter Angela Dawn Hobbs and her husband Douglas of Excelsior Springs, MO; 4 step children, Jamie Dean McElwee, Robin Renee Coffer, James Leroy McElwee and Mary Louise Smith all of Richmond, MO; a sister, Patricia Trapp of Overland Park, KS; 2 brothers, Jack Isham of Rockford, IL and Troy Isham of Spring Hill, KS and 7 grandchildren, Ashley Isham, Christopher Hobbs, Tyler Hobbs, Taylor Renee Coffer, Ashlynn Nichole Coffer, Odesa Cheyenne Smith and Jenna McElwee.
