Dale E. Jackson

Dale E. Jackson, Sr. of Plattsburg, MO, formerly of Independence, passed away on Mon, Aug 30, 2004 at the Clinton Care & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 1:30 pm, Fri, Sep. 3, 2004 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 - 8:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Comfort Care Hospice, 314 West 4th, Cameron, MO 64429. Mr. Jackson was born on Sep. 23, 1915 in Sedalia, MO and had lived most of his life in Independence. He had been a General Manager for Borden Milk and Ice Cream in Kansas City, retiring in 1979. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Dale was a Mason and a member of the KC Ad. Club. He was previously a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Margie in 2002. He is survived by a son, Dale E. Jackson, DVM and wife Connie of Holt, MO. A sister, Hilda Thomas of Plattsburg. Four grandchildren, Wendy Carpenter of Blue Springs, MO, Robin Burge of Plainfield, IL, Shauna Pieper of Holt, MO and Kimberly Arial of Excelsior Springs, MO and by seven great grandchildren.
