FRANK HARLAN JACKSON 73 OF INDEPENDENCE, MO. PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY JULY 2, 2003 AT HIS HOME.SERVICES WILL BE HELD 2:00 PM WEDNESDAY JULY 9, 2003 AT THE SPEAKS SUBURBAN CHAPEL. BURIAL IN MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY. VISITATION WILL BE FROM 7:00 TO 8:30 PM TUESDAY AT THE SPEAKS SUBURBAN CHAPEL. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS FAMILY SUGGESTS CONTRIBUTIONS TO ST. MARYS HOSPITAL HOSPICE. FRANK WAS BORN IN KANSAS CITY, MO. ON SEPTEMBER 3, 1929 AND LIVED IN THE INDEPENDENCE AREA MOST OF HIS LIFE. HE HAD WORKED FOR ALLIED SIGNAL FOR 30 YEARS RETIRING IN 1984 AS A SYSTEMS ANALYST. FRANK WAS A 53 YEAR MEMBER OF MAYWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH AND WAS A DEACON, MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE OF 55 YEARS NINA M. JACKSON OF THE HOME. HIS SON AND DAUGHTER IN LAW STEVE AND LINDA JACKSON OF OVERLAND PARK, KS., HIS DAUGHTER JUDY BAKER OF INDEPENDENCE, MO. AND A SISTER VIVIAN SPODNIK OF SOUTH DAKOTA. 6 GRANDCHILDREN JULIE TAYLOR, MICHELE ZELK, BILL BAKER, KRISTEN REX, ZAC JACKSON AND MATTHEW JACKSON. 3 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN KAYLIN ZELK, EMMA TAYLOR AND AUSTIN ZELK.
