Jimmy C. Jackson, 64 of Edwards, MO passed away Monday February 12, 2007 at his sister�s home in Independence, MO. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the chapel. Donations to Kansas City Hospice. Jimmy was born April 19, 1942 in Lexington, MO to Paul I and Opal E. (Amer) Jackson. He had worked as a personal assistant for the Don Hall family for over 17 years until he retired in 2006. Jimmy had proudly served in the Army during Vietnam from 1965-67. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry work, riding ATV�s and being outdoors. He is survived by; his mother Opal Jackson of Independence, MO a son, Jimmy J. Jackson of Independence, MO; a daughter, Kim of Kansas City; a brother, George Jackson of Springfield, MO; 3 sisters, Ruth McCulley and Betty Singer of Independence, MO and Pauline Giddings of Raytown, MO and 5 grandchildren.
