Sandra Lee James (Young)

Sandra Lee James, 65 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at her residence. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Sandra was born February 3, 1953 in Independence, MO to Clarence and Waneta (Harrison) Young and has been a longtime area resident. She enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had worked as a field consultant for 7-Eleven. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Survivors include; 3 sons, Brandon James and wife Lauren of Kansas City, MO, Danny Shockey and wife Stacy and Steve Shockey and wife Michelle all of Independence, MO; a brother, Steve Young of Buffalo, MO; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
