There they would reunite with friends they had met from all over the United States to hibernate during the cold season. Ruby loved her family fiercely and will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Reuben; daughters, Brenda Paul (Tom) and Kathy Allen (Sammy); 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.Ruby was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1st at 2pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family has asked that social distancing be respected and for masks to be worn. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sycamore Hills Baptist Church in memory of Ruby.
