Robert Janes, Jr

Robert Kerr Janes, Jr. 78 of Independence, MO passed away Mon. Sep 10, 2007 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A private inurnment service will be held at a later date. Mr. Janes was born on Feb. 13, 1929 in Billings, MO. He had been a self employed Painter all his life, a trade he learned while proudly serving his country in U.S. Marines Mr. Janes was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family Two wives, Reba Janes and Marcella Janes, preceded Mr. Janes in death. He is survived by 8 children, Jim A Janes, Sheila Janes, Robert L. Janes and wife Debbie, Bobby Janes and wife Lori, Darryl Janes and wife Vickie, Kathy Jaffola and husband Jamie, Terry D. Janes and wife Katy and Bill Graham. A sister, Esther McGowen, twenty-six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
