Jason Duvall Clark, a beloved and dedicated family man, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 27th, 2023, in Independence, Missouri. He was born on January 11th, 1988, in Kansas City, Kansas. Services will be held at Carson-Speaks Chapel on June 11th, 2023. A visitation will begin at 1PM followed by the funeral service at 3PM where we will honor the life of Jason Duvall Clark.
Jason was a graduate of William Chrisman High School and pursued a career as a flatbed truck driver for T.M.C. Transportation. In addition to his successful career, Jason had many hobbies and interests. He loved DJing for weddings, birthdays, fashion shows, proms, kids' events, various clubs in Kansas City and BBQs. It was evident that he had a passion for music which he shared with everyone who had the pleasure of hearing him play. Jason was also a talented athlete who was known as one of the fastest receivers in football when he was younger. He enjoyed running, skateboarding, biking, playing video games and most of all spending time with his children.
In 2006, Jason set a record for high jump in Missouri by jumping just shy of 7 feet; this would be one of his proudest accomplishments. However, what truly mattered to Jason were the people he loved dearly: Arlene Clark (mother), John Clark (father), Brittany Highfill (fiancé), Jayden Clark (son), Khloe Clark (daughter), Justin Clark (brother), Dorothy Jones (grandmother), George Jones (uncle), Clifford Jones (uncle), Doug Jones (uncle) and host of cousins and friends.
To Brittany - your love made him happy beyond measure.
To Jayden and Khloe - you brought him joy with every hug.
To Arlene - you raised an amazing man.
To Justin - thank you for being his brother.
Jason's contagious smile and positive attitude will forever be missed. He will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful and loving person who touched the hearts of many with his lively spirit. Rest now Jason Duvall Clark, your memory will always be cherished by those who love you most.
