Jerry Allen Jefferies, 88, a resident of Independence, Missouri, passed on to join his family on Monday November 1, 2022. Jerry was the youngest of three boys born to Clarence and Gladys Jefferies of St. Joseph, Missouri. His mother called the boys her three jewels.
Jerry served in the Army during the early 1950's in Korea. Jerry married Shirley McDonald in 1957, and is survived by his only child, daughter Shelley Jefferies Mullane, two grandsons Connor Mullane (Ashley) Collin Mullane (Mckayla) and great granddaughter Preslee Mullane.
Jerry had a sarcastic sense of humor that he passed on to me his daughter. He had a soft heart for dogs and would adopt or bring home strays.
