Betty L. Jennings

Betty L. Jennings, 74, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday May 5, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Sunday May 9, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Betty was born December 29, 1929 in Moberly, MO to Earl and Margaret (Ravenscraft) Hagan. Mrs. Jennings enjoyed volunteering with the Red Cross and at the Bingham Waggoner Estate. She was creative and loved making arts and crafts. Most recently she spent her time surfing on the Internet. Mrs. Jennings is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Ricky Craig, son Bradley Jennings; grandchildren H.D. Craig, Sgt. Christopher Craig, Nicholas Craig and Heather Jennings; sister Jackie Williams, brother Robert Douglas Hagan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Doug Jennings in 1983, daughter Peggy Ann Jennings, grandchild Kelly, brother Earl Hagan Jr., sisters Emma Gilpin and June Sumpter.
