Doris Jensen

Doris Emily Jensen, 84, of Lee�s Summit MO, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at John Knox Care Center. Visitation will be 7-9:00 pm Thursday August 14, 2003 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services will be 9:30 am Friday August 15, 2003 at the chapel. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, NE. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ Temple Lot Missionary Fund, PO Box 472, Independence, MO 64051. Doris was born September 15, 1918 in Bonner Springs, KS to Benjamin and Ethel (Woodcock) Winegar and grew up in Bemidji, MN. Doris was a member of the Church of Christ Temple Lot. She loved flowers and raised hybrid iris. After moving to John Knox she enjoyed activities where one of her paintings was selected for an auction and in winning spelling bee contests. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Robert Jensen in 1999. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Victor Ostermiller of Bedminster, NJ, Kathleen and Ralph Clark of Lone Jack, MO and son David Jensen of Bellevue, NE. Also surviving are grandchildren Douglass and Jeffrey Ostermiller of NJ, Jerry Clark of MO, Cynthia and Tim Flemke of WI, Lisa and Terry McGhee of MO and Jacob and Paul Clark of MO, 3 great-grandchildren Crystal, Sean and Karah, sisters Lillian Gould of MN, Vida Hill of MN and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
