Dorothy Jiles

Dorothy Jiles, 86, Independence, MO, passed away Monday, January 19, 2004, at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:30 am Friday, January 23, at Speaks Midtown Chapel; burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from 9-10:30 am. Mrs. Jiles was born March 4, 1917, in Mayview MO, to William and Florida Bryant. She had lived in the Independence area for many years, and loved spending time with her family, sewing and cooking, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard Jiles, in 2002. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.
