Gilbert Eugene Johnson, 66, of Gravois Mills, MO, passed away Friday, January 27th at Lake Regional Health Center in Osage Beach, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2nd at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Gilbert was born August 29, 1939 in Kansas City, MO to Harry Eugene and Ruth Irene (Snyder) Johnson. He was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Gilbert had retired from the Ford Claycomo Plant. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Karen (Slankard) Johnson; daughters Kimberly Weibel and husband Michael, Kelly Kapp and husband Matthew; step-son Joseph Cobb; 2 grandsons Keenan Leaming and Bradley Kapp; 2 sisters Norma Bucey and Juanita Schneider; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
