Nancy Lue Johnson, 74 of Independence, MO passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Graveside entombment will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Mt. Washington Mausoleum. Nancy was born March 25, 1939 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Gladys (Boothe) Kuefner and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked for Montgomery Wards for over 10 years. She was an animal lover who also enjoyed sewing and flowers. Survivors include; her husband, David of the home; 3 daughters, Lorena Rogers (Danny) of Independence, MO, Vickie Smith and Donna Clark (David) all of Sibley, MO; a stepdaughter, Meredith Ivey of Smithville, MO; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; 3 sons, Donald Wilson, Jr. in 1959, Donald Wilson III in 1972 and Dennis Wilson in 2006 and a stepson, Michael Johnson in 2011.
