Ronald C. "Ron" Jones

Ronald “Ron” C. Jones, 81, of Independence, MO passed away June 13, 2019. Visitation and Classic Cars display will be from 1-3pm Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3pm Saturday at the chapel. In keeping with Ron’s wishes, causal dress is requested. Ron will be laid to rest next to his wife of 43 years Patricia Ann (Rackers) Jones, In Salem Cemetery. Ron was born on January 18, 1938 in Hartsburg, MO, the only child born to Grover Calvin and Mayme Jeanette (Seitz) Jones. He retired as a Regional Manager for the Sherman Williams Company with over 20 years of service. He also spent 20 years with Kenworth, supervising the paint department. Ron spent many happy hours restoring classic cars. He was well known in the area for his automotive painting skills. He participated in several cars shows around the area and enjoyed traveling. His latest project was just recently completed and will be on display as well. Ron was greatly loved and will be forever missed by his family and many friends. Survivors include; daughter Rhonda Bock and her husband Allen; Lisa Morgan-Wilson; daughter Janice Jones; partner of 10 years Ann Trowbridge, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a large extended family and many friends. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, wife Pat and daughter Sherri Brisbin. Memorial contributions made be made to Mission Driven PO Box 2658 Mission, KS.
