De.Wayne E. Jones, Sr.

De.Wayne E. Jones Sr., 63, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, June 30, 2006 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice. De.Wayne was born December 3, 1942, in Oregon, IL to Haile and Isabelle (Wagner) Jones Sr. De.Wayne retired from Armco Steel / GST after 30 years of service as a Switchman. He loved his family and his life revolved around his grandchildren. Mr. Jones enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. De.Wayne was very proud of his newly acquired Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda K. (Cordill) Jones; daughter Tami L. Jones, son and daughter-in-law De.Wayne E. "Kip� and Cindy L. Jones, Jr.; grandchildren William E. Jones and Shey L. Jones; brother Robert D. Jones and wife Sally, sister Sharon Lee Jones. De.Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
