Clyde Allen Jordan, 87 of Raytown, MO passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his home. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Connection Point Church 10500 E State Rte 350, Raytown, MO 64138. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., until service time Tuesday at the church. Donations may be made to the Connection Point Church. Clyde was born August 25, 1931 in Darlington, SC to Marion C. and Elizabeth Harriett (Williams) Jordan. He spent his early life in South Carolina graduating from Timmonsville, SC High School in 1950. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1950-54. He had worked as a glass glazier for over 37 years for Atlas Glass Company and for Carter Glass Company before he retired in 1993. Prior to that he had worked for the US Postal Service for 5 years. He enjoyed bowling, golf, was an avid KC Chiefs and Royals fan and enjoyed spending time at his lake property fishing and boating. He was a member of the Connection Point Church and the Local #558 Glass Glaziers Union. He was married to Betty Raines on July 17, 1954; she preceded him in death in 2009. Survivors include; 2 sons, Rick Jordan and wife Carla of Kansas City, MO and Rob Jordan and wife Kelli of Lake Tapawingo, MO; a sister, Sherill Jordan of Florence, SC; 4 grandchildren, Amanda(Nick), Tyler (Ashley), Kenzi (Jon) and Cameron and 3 great grandchildren, Kennedy, Sylvia and Kay. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Jordan, a sister, Paula Jordan, a brother, Marion Jordan, Jr. and a great grandson, Felix Enloe.
