Marjorie L. Jordon

Marjorie L. Jordon, 85, 0f Gladstone, passed away, Sunday, October 26, 2003 at the Woodbine Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association. Marjorie was born January 25, 1918 in Sibley, MO to Clarence and Myrtle (Jones) Winfrey. She spent most of her life in the Sibley and Buckner area graduating from Buckner High School. She was a veteran of WWII having served 3 years in the U.S. Navy. She latter worked for the I.R.S. in Kansas City, MO and retired from Lake City Ammunition Plant. She was a member of Six-Mile Baptist Church in Buckner. She was married to Ellis Jordon he passed away in 1977. She is survived by; 2 sisters, Grace Wilcox and Virginia McKay both of Gladstone, MO; 3 brothers, Bill Winfrey of Olathe, KS, Glen Winfrey of Lee�s Summit, MO and Joe Winfrey of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by a sister Annabell Barnett in 1998.
