Alice Loretta Juliana, 82, of Independence, died November 8, 2006 at Regency Care Center. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Interment will follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Alice was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 23, 1924 the daughter of Thomas Edward and Elizabeth Margaret (Aspberry) Hicks. She loved being a mother and grandmother and was active in the P.T.A. when her boys were young. She enjoyed fashion and loved to shop for the latest styles. Alice enjoyed all types of music especially classical music. She was a beautician and worked for Victor�s Salons in the Kansas City area. Alice was a member of the R.L.D.S. Church and was a volunteer as a Gray Lady. She married Guy Michael Juliana Sr. in Higginsville in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by her four sons, Guy Michael Jr. of Independence, Peter Edward Juliana and wife Ida of Santa Clarita, CA., Larry E. Juliana and wife Lou Ann of Independence, and Aughtie A. Juliana and wife Pamela of St. Peters, Mo., twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
