WILLIAM HAROLD JULIFF
Bill Juliff, 98, of Independence, MO passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the chapel.
Bill was born on May 18, 1918 in London, Ontario, CA to Percival and Ethel Juliff. After high school, he joined the United States Navy. Bill was a veteran of World War II. He worked in sheet metal after returning home and eventually started Juliff Furnace Service which he ran that for 25 years. In his later years, he collected tickets at Kauffman Stadium from 2003-2014, Arrowhead Stadium from 2002 – present day. He also worked for Crowd Systems at KU Football and Basketball games as well as many other local events from 2002 – present. Most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
His survivors include his two daughters Avis Oliver and husband Ron of Branson, MO, Janet Juliff of Independence, MO; grandson Todd Oliver and wife Suzanne of Lees Summit, MO; granddaughter Nicole Lesue and husband Jon of Lees Summit, MO; and great-grandkids Savannah Oliver, Taylor Lesue, Brenden Lesue, Kyle Lesue, and Alison Lesue.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Edward Juliff, Marie Horn, Audrey O’Neil, Myron Juliff and his wife Josephine Juliff.
