June Carol Sarratt

June Carol (Smith) Sarratt, of Independence, Missouri, passed away at the Groves Care Center on February 18, 2025. She was 86 years of age. June was born on May 30, 1938, to Elder Kenneth Julian and Edna Rae (Flint) Smith. June was an active member of the Church of Christ Temple Lot and enjoyed traveling with her husband visiting members in his appointed field. June adored playing and listening to music, a trait that she shared with her husband and passed on to their children. 

June is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Alexander Smith (Carol) and Kenneth "Jim" Smith, and her sister-in-law, Kathy Smith. Her legacy lives on through her beloved husband of 61 remarkable years, Apostle Roland L. Sarratt; their children, Stephen Sarratt (Karey Tillman) and Eric Sarratt (Sheila White); her grandsons, Brandon (Bethany), Trevor (Bethany), Braydon, and Cole; one great-granddaughter, Lizzy; her brother, Bob Smith (Barb), sister-in-law, Sharon Smith, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 1-2 pm followed by a celebration of life at 2 pm. A graveside service will be held for close friends and family following the service at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.
