Betty S. Karnaze (Self)

Betty S. Karnaze, 83 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Betty was born November 12, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK and spent her early life in Pittsburg, KS. She later received a Bachelor of Art in education from MU. She was an art and elementary classroom teacher who cherished working with children. She enjoyed painting, gardening, travel and family, and was a devout Christian. Survivors include; a daughter, Annette Jensen and husband Dennie of Cocoa, FL; 2 sons, Philip Karnaze and wife Becky of Scott City, KS and Paul Karnaze and wife Deanne of Fiddletown, CA; 2 brothers, Vernon and Jim; 2 sisters, Ann and Nancy; and 4 grandchildren, Bradley, Anastasia, Jake and Kristen.
