K. Corrine Middleton

Katherine Corrine Middleton, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024. Corrine was born on December 21, 1938, to Robert and Jennie Turner in Michigan. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, Missouri. Corrine married her love, Robert “Bob” Middleton. They were married for 48 years and created a beautiful life together. She worked in accounting in various settings, and then ended her career as a school bus driver for the Independence School District. In her free time, Corrine enjoyed painting, crocheting, playing card games, and most of all spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in her passing by her husband, Robert Middleton; her parents, Robert and Jennie Turner and her brothers John Turner and R. Joe Turner. She is survived by her youngest brother Charles Turner, her son Bryan Middleton (Dee) and her daughter Donna Thompson (Seth Howard) her grandchildren, Amanda Aidnik (Jeff), Marissa Middleton, Katie Teevan (Kyle) and Jennie Poe (Andrew); her great-grandchildren, Kailey Middleton, Andrew Middleton, Owen Aidnik, Eli Aidnik, Alexander Poe, Calista Teevan, and Seth Teevan. Corrine will have a visitation at Speaks Suburban Chapel on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 9-10 am with service beginning at 10 am. Friends and family are invited to meet at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens (18301 E. Salisbury Rd. Independence, MO 64056) immediately following the service at speaks for her graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideons International, Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, and the City Union Mission Family Center. The family would like to express great appreciation to Phoenix Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
