Kathryn's skills in raising and nurturing her children were admired by all who knew her. Her proudest accomplishments were not tangible achievements but the lifelong bonds forged with each of them.

Kathryn held a special place in her heart for holidays, particularly Thanksgiving. She cherished the moments spent surrounded by family and friends during this joyous occasion. Additionally, she found great happiness in the annual trips she took to Iowa to visit relatives. These visits were filled with laughter and stories that created lasting memories for everyone involved.

Her warm smile could brighten even the darkest days, bringing comfort to those around her. Kathryn's generosity knew no bounds; she would go above and beyond to help those in need without hesitation. Her actions have left an indelible impact on all fortunate enough to have known her.

Kathryn experienced great pride and joy as a longstanding member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She formed lasting friendships through her involvement and cherished the camaraderie shared with her fellow sorority sisters. The bonds formed during this time were treasured by Kathryn and brought her immeasurable happiness.

Kathryn is survived by her devoted children: James Head (Rita), Chris Head, Dianna Holman (William), Brenda Wilson (Jeff), DeDe Walker (Chris), David White (Kristi) and Kathryn's legacy extends further through the lives of her fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren and brother: John DeGan (Frankie)
