Kathryn Bramhall-Vaughan
Kathryn Bramhall-Vaughan, 76, of Independence, Missouri, Jackson County, passed away on July 5, 2023 at her home in Blue Springs.
Kathryn was born July 4, 1947 at the old St. Mary's hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, to Eleanor Jean Carr and Lloyd Thomas Bramhall.
Kathryn attended her first two years of high school at the old William Chrisman High School building and her last two years at the new William Chrisman High School building both in Independence, graduating in 1965.
She went to work at Hallmark cards in Kansas City, Missouri, directly out of high school in 1966, starting on their handwork assembly line for the first two years and eventually promoted to lead work coordinator in calender manufacturing, taking care of three shifts of workers for the next 31 years.
Kathryn married Cecil A. Vaughan, Jr. on June 30, 1967, in Independence, MO. Cecil preceded her in death in February, 2020.
She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Independence Pioneers chapter for 17 years.
Burial in the Bramhall Cemetery, Grovespring, Missouri.
