Rose Mary Kavanaugh (O'Leary)

Rose Mary Kavanaugh, 84, of Liberty, MO passed away January 18, 2018. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday, January 27, 2018. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Longview Cemetery. Rose Mary was born on August 3, 1933 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas and Antionette (Schroer) O’Leary. She was a Registered Nurse in the area for many years, including St. Mary’s in Kansas City and Blue Springs as well as MCI. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Survivors include; son William Kavanaugh and his wife Norma; son Brian Kavanaugh and his wife Betty; daughter Mary Jane Lamb; sister Patricia Rodarte; grandchildren Christopher Kavanaugh, Seamus Kavanaugh, Donovan Kavanaugh, Renee Kavanaugh; Bridgitte Kavanaugh, David Lamb and Jeffery Lamb; a large extended family and many friends. Rose Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Kavanaugh in 1998, brothers Thomas, John and Edward O’Leary, sister Stephana O’Leary, and a granddaughter Brianna Kavanaugh.
