Larry Keck

Lawrence L. "Larry� Keck, 65, Independence, MO passed away unexpectedly Jan. 24, 2007 at his home. Services will be 2 pm, Monday, Jan. 29, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th St. & 291 Hwy., Independence. MO; cremation. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
Larry was born Dec. 17, 1941 in Independence and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Van Horn High School. He was a piping engineer and retired last year from Technology Plus. Larry also was a drag racer for 35 years and raced at strips throughout the Midwest.
Larry is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Kay Keck, of the home; sons David Edward Keck, Independence; James Lawrence Keck and wife Melissa Zietz, Monona, WS; grandchildren Zoe Elizabeth Keck and Will Matthew Keck; mother-in-law Marjorie McConnell, Independence; and many nieces and nephews.
