Edith Rose Keehler, 88, of Independence, MO passed away August 3, 2014. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Edith was born February 16, 1926 in Independence, MO to Amon and Lorena Badder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Melvin Keehler, on April 28, 2014. She is survived by her three children, Vivian Keehler of Independence, MO, Ted Keehler and wife Shelby of Lee’s Summit, MO, Teresa Soto and husband Martin of Kansas City, MO; sister, Maxine Hattey of Odessa, MO, grandchildren, Amber Young and husband Trey of Lee’s Summit, MO, John Keehler and wife Tasha of Dallas, TX, Andrea Raymond and husband Matt of Lee’s Summit; and twelve great grandchildren.
