Bessie C. Keeling

Bessie C. Keeling, 77, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW R.D. Mize Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice. Bessie was born November 26, 1928 in Keytesville, MO to Carl and Bessie (Cavanaugh) Owens. She was passionate about cooking and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. Mrs. Keeling loved her family dearly and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bessie is survived by her son Donald W. Keeling and wife Regina, daughter Linda Kay Jarman and husband John, daughter Judy Hendrix and husband Bill, son Ronald Keeling and wife Candy; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister Jeanine Mills. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Clark W. Keeling in 1979.
