Glynda Irene Keeth (Petersen)

Glynda Keeth, 67, of Independence, MO passed away January 21, 2016. Visitation will be from 2-3pm Monday, January 25, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3pm at the chapel. Graveside services will be 1pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Crocker City Cemetery in Crocker, MO. Glynda was born on February 5, 1948 in Independence, Mo to Clarence and Cleora (Robinson) Petersen. She was a graduate of William Chrisman High School. Glynda retired from Big Lots in Blue Springs where she loved spending her time with her work family and greeting the public. She was a huge fan of her hometown teams, the Royals and the Chiefs! She loved spending time with her grandchildren and telling stories. Glynda enjoyed taking care of everyone, including the squirrels and birds that dropped by her house for a bite to eat. Her favorite companion was her cat TwoToes! Survivors include; son Robert and his wife Kim, step-son Lester Jr and his wife Linda; grandchildren Blake Agan, Colby Keeth (Stevie), Danielle McCurdy, Colby McCurdy (Tara), Amanda McCurdy; sister Anita Holder and extended family and friends. Glynda is preceded in death by her husband Lester, her parents, and a brother, David Petersen.
