Robert James Keil

Robert Keil, 16, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:30pm – 8:00pm on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Timothy Lutheran Church 425 NW RD Mize Rd, Blue Springs, MO, 64014. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday March 5, 2016 at the church. Robert was born February 16, 2000 to George and Catherine Keil. He loved playing video games, long-boarding, being with his friends, but mostly he enjoyed lovingly tormenting his sister Mollie. He was a sophomore at Blue Springs South High School. Robert was a selfless young man who was very protective of his family. Although his time on earth was short, he touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Robert will be remembered by his parents George and Catherine Keil of the home; his sister Mollie Keil of the home; paternal grandmother Alice Keil of Independence, MO; maternal grandmother Candice Fladd and husband Bob Titsworth of VanBuren, AR; several aunts, uncles, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Leon Keil and his maternal grandfather Robert James Fladd. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Americans for Suicide Prevention.
