Marie Keir

Marie Keir, 93, of Independence, MO, died June 27, 2005 at Regency Care Center. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. The service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel, with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Marie was born in Wagoner, OK. She lived in Richmond, MO before moving to Independence in 1934. She was a registered nurse, and employed at Lake City Arsenal for 25 years. She was a member of the Village Heights Community of Christ Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Keir; and two brothers, Marvin and Andrew Kugler. Her survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Benson and husband Roy of Independence, MO; two brothers, John Kugler of Mission Viejo, CA and James Allan Kugler of Bayfield, CO; three grandchildren, Deborah Marshall, Shelley Parnell and Ross Benson; four great-grandsons, Clint and Travis Parnell, Addison and Austin Benson.
