Donald Keith, 69, of Independence, MO, passed away, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. Donald was born March 5, 1945 in Middletown, OH he grew up in Beaumont, TX and graduated from French High School in 1963. He had worked in sales and marketing for RJR Nabisco and Acosta Sales. He was a very patriotic man who was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandson. He is survived by; a son, Ken Keith and his wife Shelly and their son, Palmer of Kansas City, MO; a niece, Lexy Richmond and her son Jordon Richmond. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lynda Keith in 2008 and a brother, James Kenneth Richmond.
