Patricia Elaine "Pat" Keithley (Thomsen)

Patricia “Pat” Keithley, 79, of Independence, MO went to meet her Heavenly Father on May 21, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 1-3pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Funeral services will follow at 3pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Pat was born on December 5, 1939 in White Church, Kansas to Chris and Myrtle (Meyers) Thomsen. She was a graduate of the Class of 1958 from East High School. Over 58 years ago she married the love of her life, Roy Keithley. To this union 2 children were born, Sherrie Keithley Bell and Tony Keithley and their lives were complete. They were members of Coventry Estates Baptist Church in Independence. Pat enjoyed spending time at the lake with her family which always involved cooking! She was very giving and had an ornery side. She will be forever loved and missed by her family. Survivors include; husband Roy Keithley; daughter Sherrie Bell and her husband Martin; son Tony Keithley and his wife Beth; grandchildren Stefanie Speers and her husband Victor, Amanda Weir and her husband Toby, Brian Keithley and Emily Reynolds and her husband Matt; 9 great grandchildren’ sisters Beverly Cauthon, Judy Pokaluk, Joyce O’Dell and Sue Parks; brothers Don Thomsen Sr. and Kenny Thomsen; a large extended family and many friends. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Shirley Hodge. The family would like to express their gratitude to St. Luke’s Hospice for their care and support.
