James B “JB” Kelley, 92, Independence, MO passed away Jan. 19, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wed., Jan. 22 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be at 10 am, Sat., Jan. 25 at Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Susan G. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was a route driver for Service Industrial Laundries for over twenty-two years and retired in 1982. He was a member of American Legion Post #21 and a Teamster. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid golfer. JB is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years Peggy Kelley, of the home; daughters Jackie Kelley; Jenifer Cannon and husband Kelly, all of Independence, MO; grandchildren Kelley Spencer and husband Darrin, Overland Park, KS; Cody Jackson and wife Kirsten, Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren Jacob & Paige Spencer, Cadence Meany-Jackson and great-grandson Alexander Jackson on the way.
