Cheryl Kelly

Cheryl Anne Kelly, 51, passed away Friday, January 18th 2013. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23rd at Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church; 1800 S. Northern Boulevard, Independence, MO 64052. A private family dinner to follow.
Cheryl was born December 12th 1961 in Independence, MO to Donald Lee “John” and Patricia Jewell Robinson. She graduated from Truman High School 1980 and married Michael “Mick” Kelly in 1981. Together they have a son, Matthew who will be 27 in February. Cheryl worked 16 years for the Sprint Corporation. She was a soft spoken, compassionate person with an indomitable spirit. She especially loved her family and friends and her puppy, Cersie. Cheryl loved walking the beach in Vero and collecting shells along the shore. She has touched the hearts of many and will be missed very much.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael; son, Matthew Kelly; mother, Patricia Robinson; brother, Kevin Robinson and wife Stacey; sister, Christine Hoag and husband Kenny, all of Independence, MO; sister Pamela Metzdorf and Steve Meyers of Vero Beach, FL; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lee Robinson.
