Hubert "Bugs" Kelsay

Hubert O. "Bugs� Kelsay, 76, of Oak Grove, MO, formerly of Stockton, MO, passed away Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Medical Center of Independence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Thursday, July 31st at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church, Oak Grove, MO; with interment in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at Geo. C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Bugs was born October 16, 1926 in Eldon, MO to Hubert and Lena Kelsay. He served in the US Navy during WW II. He worked for Ford Motor Co. for many years; was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Shrine. Bugs is survived by his daughters, Caron Snider of Independence, MO, Deanie Wittenburg and husband Hank of Oak Grove, MO, and Claudia Smith and husband Rick of Blue Springs, MO; son, Les Kelsay and wife Kathy of New Orleans, LA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
