John Carl Kennedy

John Carl Kennedy, 50 of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. John was born May 20, 1964 in Kansas City, MO to Raymond C. and Wilma I. (Quisenberry) Kennedy as has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Ft. Osage High School in 1982. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served until 1986. He then graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry. He owned Gentle Dentistry in Platte City, MO. He enjoyed drawing, skiing and traveling. He is survived by: his parents, Raymond and Wilma Kennedy of Independence, MO; 3 sisters, Teresa Kennedy, Sharon Marie Large and Crystal all of Independence, MO and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and other extended family and friends.
