Kenton Jay Price, lovingly known as Kent, passed away peacefully at his home on November 4th, 2024. Born on February 2nd, 1952, in Independence, Missouri. Kent dedicated his life to his family and over 50 years with the UA and 38 years to his trade as a proud Pipefitter with Local Union 533.
A man of action, Kent found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An outdoorsman at heart, he spent free time fishing, camping, hunting, and scuba diving. He was also a skilled motorcyclist and a devoted tinkerer, often working on one of many, beloved Chevy trucks.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Thomas Price and Lillian Faye (Colvin) Price, and a daughter, Tanya Melissa Price. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Joe) Haney, his grandchildren, Lillian, Julia, Miriam, and Victoria, his brother, Greg (Jean) Price, his nieces, Stacey (Mark), Ann (Ignacio), and his dear friend Darla Seip.
Kent's memory will endure, a testament to a life well-lived. Services will take place on Thursday, November 21st, 2024, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
